Course Description
Technological Inquiry courses provide students with an understanding of the use of process skills as an integral part of scientific activity and technological development. Students learn how scientific phenomena are explained, measured, predicted, organized, and communicated. Students will be presented with a problem to solve/understand by scientific inquiry. Where they will design, test, and reflect/evaluate their models in a way to determine what practices would yield the best results. Topics covered may include energy and motion, electricity, gravity, magnetism, heat, the structure of matter, basic engineering, and how matter reacts to materials and forces
Goals for future
This course will encourage students to problem solve and use critical thinking to overcome various challenges. Giving them real life experience in developing a plan and execute it with precision. These are just a few of the primary skills needed for STEM careers today.
